Connie Ness
Fitness has been a passion since I started running during my senior year in high school. I loved the energy and confidence I felt and, most of all, the positive changes that occurred with my body.

As I reflect on my years of fitness, I realize that it is all my life experiences that help to make me a good trainer.

I know what it’s like to grow up overweight.

I know what it’s like to train for events while being a mother, a wife, and while having a career.

I understand the changes that occur to your body and the benefits of exercising while being pregnant.

I know the frustration of having injuries and what it takes to recover.

I experience the passion, energy, and health benefits that come from being in shape because I have learned how to set a goal and accomplish it. I have trained for and competed in events ranging from 5K’s to the Ironman Triathlon to 24 hr adventure races – almost always finishing in the top 10 percent of my age group.

My fitness philosophy is simple- everyone can improve their health, appearance, and lifestyle regardless of their age, athletic ability, or medical history. I keep my clients so excited about their fitness goals that no matter what other responsibilities or obstacles surface, they stick to their program.

I make sure exercise is always fun, interesting, and something they look forward to doing. I thrive on being able to help people of all types achieve their fitness goals. I take the time to get to know my clients so I know what it will take to motivate them. My clients benefit from this passion and it helps them reach their goals.

Colin Ness

My philosophy is to train smart, listen to my body, remain injury free and above all, have FUN!!!  As a collegiate high jumper, I learned from some of the best coaches how to set fitness goals and plan for success.

I’ve used that experience to help train clients for a wide array of long distance events including marathons, Ironman triathlons and multi-day adventure races.  With FBBC, helping you achieve your fitness and health goals is my mission.
